Template:SplitCategory/doc

This is a documentation subpage for Template:SplitCategory (see that page for the template itself).
It contains usage information, categories and other content that is not part of the original template page.

USAGE

{{SplitCategory|eins, zwei, drei}}

…creates, independently of the wikis language (i.e. working under en, de, etc.):

[[Category:eins]] [[Category:zwei]] [[Category:drei]] 

Technical Note: The function uses #replace:, but the replacement text must be "hidden" inside a second template {{Template:SplitCategory/Delimiter}} to avoid clean-up actions by the parser.
